Vegas Victims

" What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." Well, it all makes perfect sense to me now. It's your MONEY. These two proved that theory all too well. They gambled......... and lost. It's a good thing Scott read " The World's Greatest Blackjack Book" before he went. It really, really helped him lose more money.

I know they had a great weekend..... but I'm pretty sure that's their first and last trip to Vegas together.

They were really looking forward to watching BYU play for the title. Too bad they let them down.
Can't complain too much though, they still saw some good basketball!

Everything Spring

I love spring. The bright colors, the almost green grass, the sunburn at the park, and the fact that Easter is almost here.
Today sure felt like spring. I tried to soak it in because tomorrow we may have snow. We don't really have April showers here in Colorado, we have April snowstorms. So hopefully ......
high elevation = intensified sunshine = melting of snow.

I thought Jade looked very "spring" today.

Kael's spring picture was definitely fridge worthy, don't you think?!
He even colored around each letter of his name. Perfection.

Blue blue sky and a little munchkin.

My favorite picture of the day. I love this beautiful girl of mine.

Robin's egg blue is one of the best colors ever I have to say.
Especially this time of year.

A little luck

Scott got lucky 10 years ago on his mission in Kentucky and found this four leaf clover. When we met in Utah a few years later he decided to make a bookmark with it. So he used this silly picture of me to make it look like I was holding the clover. So I guess this was the luck he had been waiting for.

Oh the things you do when your in love.
The quote on the bookmark says, " The most precious gift that ever comes to a man in this world is a woman's heart."
So cheesy but cute.

Girls retreat in San Francisco

All of us dental wives reunited, no kids, money to spend, in the city we love= perfection.
We always said we would stay close and eventually ALL make it back to the city together. I am proud to say we did it, and it was a blast! These girls are amazing. Crazy to think all these ladies are so dear to me and it's all because our husbands got into dental school the same year?! I sure got lucky. I can't wait to do it again! Thanks ladies for a perfect weekend:)

Here we are. We don't miss our kids and you can tell.

We waited 2 hours to eat this...... and boy was it worth every minute! The Monte Cristo at Mama's.

All of us in front of the Carter's home where we stayed for the weekend. They were way too good to us. So grateful for their generosity....... I just wish we could have spent more time with them.

The classic Ghirardelli chocolate sundae........ the only thing we could afford in the city during dental school!

Sunny Lombard Street.

......... and Juliana catching me being a dork as usual. At least the bridge looks amazing because I don't really know what I am doing?

What a beauty

I had to share this adorable picture. This is my beautiful mother when she was 16 or so. I haven't seen very many pictures of her when she was young and so........ I fell in love with everything about this picture. Check out her style. That is by far the cutest costume I've ever seen, in fact I want her shoes. So cute! How can it be that she has stayed so gorgeous after all these years? Your such a beauty Mom, inside and out.

So blessed to be your daughter......... just look at those legs;)
