Cowboys at heart

Last week we took the kids to the Denver Stock Show to have some fun as a family. We stayed the night in Denver so we could enjoy all the fun events.  The kids favorites were riding the ponies of course, watching the rodeo, eating all sorts of junk food with dad all night...... cotton candy - snow cones - nachos - popcorn- yep pretty much all that bad stuff is Dr. Probst's weakness! Good thing the kids have no cavities so far! We had such a great time together and will probably go every year.  I couldn't leave Jade out, so here is a cute picture of her just hanging out in her little seat through all the excitement.  I'm so glad Scott plans all of these fun activities for us to do when he has a few days off. He is such a family man and loves being with the kids every chance he gets. We are so blessed!

I can't believe how grown up Karson looks in this picture.
Jade is 6 months old today!

Waiting 27 years.......

To finally pierce my ears! Wow. I'm not sure why I never did it, maybe it's because of playing sports in high school and not really wanting to be too girlie? Or maybe it was just the rule of having to be 14 years old?  Well, either way,  yesterday was like turning 14 again for me!  Scott bought me diamond earring's for Christmas and that was the biggest motivation I guess!  A little" bling bling " will always do the trick.  I can't believe I  have to wait 6 weeks to wear them.....

I am looking forward to fun earring shopping and collecting now, and yes I really am like a 14 year old and I'm dying to wear some big hoops!

Jade's Blessing

We blessed Jade Elaine Probst while we were in Montana visiting Scott's family this past Saturday. It was so wonderful to share this special moment with them, and we are so grateful for everyone who was able to be there with us.  My family was planning on being there also, but couldn't make it in the end. We missed you all and wished it could have worked out better. The blessing was beautiful and Jade looked like a sweet angel in her father's arms.

Her dress was 0-3 month and she fit it. She is so tiny.

Our family of five.

Giving back

Every Christmas Eve day Comfort Dental Dentist's give back to the community by having a "Free Care Day" for the public. This is such a great service to many who cannot afford to have their dental work done. People start lining up at 3:00 in the morning hoping for a chance to be seen. One man even slept outside the office to be the first in line, and this isn't California people..... he had to be frozen. Scott's office saw over 85 patients in a 6 hour time frame this year, and probably gave away thousands doing free dental procedures. It is a wonderful feeling giving to so many who are in need, and it is something that Scott is grateful to be a part of each year.

Scott working on an adorable little girl who came in. He loved helping the kids.

This is the packed waiting room.

The line up outside.

This it what it looked like when Scott arrived at 6:30 am.
