Little runt

Jade had her (almost) 10 month check up this week. She is still the tiniest little thing ever. Here are her stats. 

10% for height.

3% in weight.

50% head size.

100% adorable!

Kael also had his 5-6 year check up. His stats were quite opposite.

95% for height.

75% weight.

50% head size.

25% blind. 

( looks like he's taking after his dad on this one!)

We weren't too surprised because everyone always says how tall he is. I guess he is growing like a weed. Funny thing is.......... Kael had the exact same stats as Jade when he was that age. So really, what is the point of statistics anyways? Things can always change!

For My Mother

I have always loved the words from this song. It is exactly the way I feel about my Mother and I wanted to show her just how much I care by doing this?! (I was too chicken to show myself singing it, that would have been going too far!)  For any random person checking this post just be prepared........ I don't know what you will think, but I also don't care:). It is ALL about you today Mom. Thank you for giving all of us a LIFETIME of love.  It is true that at some point we all have to say goodbye, but the love you give will always live!!

I love you Mom.

All at once

Poor Karson has had a rough week. We all had a pretty rough week getting over a 7 day stomach flu. I got it twice and worse the second time around.  Scott and Jade are the only ones who didn't get it. I just wanted to point out some good that has come from being deathly ill.

1. Scott had to feed Jade for the first time at night.

2. lipton soup mix and gatorade = no cooking.

3. not feeling guilty for kids watching t.v. all day (all week).

4. pajama's everyday 

5.  losing a few pounds

6. good excuse for a messy house

Well, at least it made me feel better looking at things positively:)

So here is the rest of the story. Karson has been taking an antibiotic for the purpose of saving his two front teeth. Dr. Scott is 100% responsible for them almost being knocked out. I know he feels really badly about it and will never throw Karson that high onto the couch again. We found out yesterday that Karson is allergic to the antibiotic because he is covered from head to toe with a very itchy red rash. So the poor kid had to go through everything all at once I guess. 

Infected front teeth, the stomach flu, and an allergic reaction to his medication!

Sorry little pal. It should get better soon.

As promised

So here are the pictures I promised to post Mom.  This is Karson posing in the shirt you gave him for his birthday. He calls it his spaceship shirt. Cute!  I had to post another one of Jade so that I can tempt you............ maybe it will work and we will get you here sometime this month!! She needs to see you Grandma and Grandpa! No pressure though :)
